I tried submitting a few weeks ago but I forgot to include the wonderful artist’s name. My newest tattoo, done by Jon Joslin at Evolve in Farmington, MI. 

It is an illustration from the children’s book “Emily’s Runaway Imagination,” a book that my father used to read to me when I was little. The quote inside the banner reads “imagination is more important than knowledge,” and it is an Einstein quote.  The tattoo is a tribute to my crazy, never-ending, imagination, and of course my father.

Plasti-Kraft Handmade Guitar.

A fantastic looking handmade model sent in by Secondplacesamii;

“Hi, This guitar is called a Plasti-Kraft. Its something I’ve made myself. I made 4 so if anyone out there likes it I do have a spare. ;) Its basically inspired by forgotten shapes and methods. No one is really using fibreglass as a material which is a shame as its such a productive material to work with. The shape is inspired by the 1930’s Kay Kraft, the curves are so beautiful and its a shame not many people have used it since. Its a very self indulgent guitar. I set about making it with aesthetics high on my agenda with a self imposed goal of making it everything I wanted a perfect looking guitar to be. I hope you like it and if anyone is interested in one I can be contacted via my Tumblr or by e-mail - sam_two@hotmail.co.uk”.
